Every service is performed personally by Jerry Lindell β a second-generation horologist with over 45 years of experience and the tools to handle any clock, any condition.
Full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of clock movements. We identify worn or broken parts and restore proper function to movements that have stopped, run too fast or slow, or make grinding noises.
Precision oiling of all pivot points, mainsprings, and gear trains using period-appropriate lubricants. Proper lubrication dramatically extends movement life and improves timekeeping accuracy. Recommended every 3β5 years.
Sensitive restoration of antique grandfather clocks, tall case clocks, and family heirlooms. We preserve the original character and authenticity of your clock while returning it to proper working condition.
When antique clock parts aren't commercially available β which is common β Jerry machines them from scratch on-site using professional lathes, mills, and specialized clockmaking tools. No part is beyond our capability.
Grandfather clocks must be professionally packed before any move. We handle local area moves and select long-distance moves along the entire I-95 Corridor from Florida to New York. Cheaper than repairing a damaged clock.
For clocks that cannot be easily moved, Jerry comes to you. Available across Florida, Delaware, Maryland, and the Philadelphia metro area. Evening appointments available on a limited basis.
Repair of Westminster chime mechanisms, hour-strike trains, and quarter-hour systems. We also address chimes that strike the wrong hour, run ahead or behind, or have become out of sequence.
While our specialty is the clock movement, we work with trusted furniture restoration partners for case repair, refinishing, and glass replacement. We coordinate the whole process for you.
Call Jerry directly β he'll walk you through it at no charge.
